Tax Associate

Position Overview

As a Tax Associate within PNC’s Tax organization, you will be based in Cincinnati, OH. We seek motivated, driven and creative individuals that enjoy working as part of a team in a high‑energy environment that thrives on innovation and ingenuity.

• Strong contributor to the organizational tax reporting, tax planning, and compliance function.
• Completely accurate tax returns to minimize the tax obligations of the organization; research, monitor, and learn applicable federal, state and local tax regulations and obligations.
• Prepare appropriate tax forms and instruments for filing with federal, state and local jurisdictions.
• Coordinate, facilitate and resolve all taxing authority inquiries and audits.
• Mentor junior staff on appropriate regulations, filing procedures and internal communication needs.
• Keep up‑to‑date with and advise others on organization‑related tax regulations at the federal, state and local levels.

Roles at this level typically require a university or college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s) and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Base salary: $63,750.00 – $. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and individual skills, experience, and education.
