Overview
As a Tax Associate, you will engage in a dynamic role that involves supporting client tax compliance and consulting projects, helping them navigate the complexities of tax regulations. You will learn to build meaningful connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand through deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources. This position offers exposure to accounting practices, project management, financial statement analysis, research, and business context development.
Responsibilities- Support client engagement and projects within the tax compliance domain.
- Participate in drafting and preparing tax documents for corporate tax planning.
- Engage in tax research to provide accurate and up‑to‑date information and advice.
- Monitor and analyze financial trends to identify emerging patterns and opportunities.
- Assist in regulatory compliance consulting to help organizations meet legal requirements.
- Conduct financial statement analysis to understand business health and performance.
- Collaborate with teams to manage project tasks and achieve goals within constraints.
- Utilize accounting practices to maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Prepare tax returns and submissions to ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Analyze financial audits to express opinions on financial statements.
- Contribute to tax auditing processes to verify accurate tax reporting and payment.
- Develop skills in tax accounting for individuals and businesses.
- Review financial documents to identify potential deductions or liabilities.
- File regulatory submissions to meet country‑specific requirements for product evaluation.
- Build meaningful client connections and learn to manage and inspire others.
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Before starting full‑time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Entry‑level role intended for job seekers completing or having recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements.
- Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA.
- Demonstrated skills in corporate tax planning.
- Experience drafting and preparing tax documents.
- Project‑management skills in tax compliance.
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends effectively.
- Excelling in regulatory compliance consulting.
- Participation in financial statement analysis tasks.
The salary range for this position is $53,500 – $142,000, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), holiday pay, vacation, personal and family sick leave, and more.
