Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, with a focus on tax compliance, tax planning, and corporate tax strategies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to manage projects, mentor team members, and provide insightful tax consulting services.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough tax research to identify and analyze complex tax issues, staying current with evolving tax laws.
  • Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Provide tax consulting services to internal stakeholders, offering expert advice on tax-related matters.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on financial reporting and accounting matters, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Utilize project management skills to ensure timely completion of tax projects.
  • Demonstrate strong problem‑solving abilities to address tax‑related challenges.
  • Maintain a detail‑oriented approach to ensure accuracy in all tax‑related work.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
  • Thorough knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax laws.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate tax principles.
  • General knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or a corporate tax environment.
  • Working knowledge of tax research tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Taxation.
  • Experience with international tax matters.
  • Experience in business development.
  • Experience with tax returns preparation software.
  • Experience in auditing. Additional desired skills:
    Finance, Income Tax, Tax Returns.
