Position: Financial Center Manager II (College Hill)

Financial Center Manager II

The Financial Center Manager II will be responsible for the achievement of specified banking center and banking center staff performance goals, ongoing achievement, profitability, deposit and loan growth, and fee income.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities
  • Build, develop, and lead a client‑focused team that delivers exceptional client experience through financial solutions.
  • Drive new client acquisition, retention, growth of client relationships, and increase non‑interest revenue.
  • Build strong internal partnerships with key specialists and partners within FFB to meet client needs and support market growth.
  • Foster associate satisfaction through coaching, career development, and support.
  • Build and maintain strong community alliances and integrate into the communities served.
  • Mentor onboarding of new associates within the specified market.
  • Ensure adherence to all compliance and regulatory procedures, including BSA, Check
    21, CIP, CRA, HMDA, RegB, RegD, RegE, RegCC, Truth in Savings, Privacy Compliance, and the Patriot Act.
  • Maintain banking center service levels and performance goals, ensuring they meet or exceed district and region objectives.
  • Model the way for peers and coworkers aligned with First Financials Mission and Values.
  • Lead a knowledgeable team in bank products, processes, policies, and procedures, and encourage cross‑team collaboration.
  • Manage daily operations, audit scores, and sales execution.
  • Open deposit accounts, accept and key loan applications, close loans, and coach the branch team in growing consumer and business accounts.
  • Actively manage client onboarding, ensuring timely follow‑up calls and client relationship development.
  • Manage overall financial center sales, tracking performance and its impact on the district and company.
  • Engage in coaching, recognition, and ongoing feedback to keep the team focused on goals.
  • Develop business relationships with partners such as Business Specialists, Worklife Specialists, Financial Wellness Advisors, Preferred Bankers, Private Bankers, Wealth Advisors, Mortgage Loan Officers, and Commercial Partners.
  • Integrate into the community, creating outside sales opportunities through visibility and community group participation.
  • Support The First Financial Bank Experience (FFB Experience) via daily huddles, team meetings, client onboarding, and quality client interaction.
  • Assist District Leader and Retail Regional President with interviewing prospective candidates, facilitating conference calls, and communicating retail‑wide initiatives.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • 2–4years of demonstrated leadership—coaching, management, leadership, and/or mentoring—in a retail environment.
  • 2–4years of prior success with multiple sales leadership processes and execution.
  • 2–4years of personal experience in sales and service with success in achieving sales and service goals.
  • 2–4years of prior success achieving performance goals.
  • Working knowledge of banking policies and procedures.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent banking work experience preferred.
  • 2–4years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred).
Compliance Statement

The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by State and Federal law and regulation, as well as all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures. This includes all Bank Secrecy Act, Anti‑Money Laundering, OFAC and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements, as well as all other lending and deposit compliance requirements.

Pay Scale

$52,000/yr – $67,000/yr
