Treasury Management Officer II

Member of a highly productive treasury team responsible for business development, client service excellence, client retention, and client consultation. Focus on revenue growth, risk management, and delivering a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities- Persuasively articulate Fifth Third’s value proposition to internal and external clients and influence outcomes within the sales process.
- Identify client needs and present working‑capital solutions and payment process knowledge.
- Understand and position Fifth Third’s strategic treasury solutions against competitors’ offerings.
- Prepare and deliver quarterly client service reviews.
- Develop relationships with C‑suite and senior decision makers at client and prospect organizations.
- Create and execute plans to exceed sales goals, managing a pipeline of new and cross‑sell opportunities with CRM tools.
- Maintain communication with relationship managers (RMs) and advise on calling strategies.
- Assess RM knowledge and mentor to achieve minimum standards.
- Collaborate with client specialists and ensure ongoing excellent client service, resolving client issues and improving processes.
- Maintain proper account documentation and ensure all agreements are executed.
- Communicate product issues and recommend solutions to management.
- Promote the history, financial position, and customer‑experience commitment of Fifth Third Bank.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Accounting) or equivalent experience.
- CTP certification strongly encouraged.
- Minimum 4 years of commercial banking/treasury management experience, with at least 3 years in a sales role.
- Consistently exceeded performance goals and demonstrated a strong desire for self‑improvement.
- Excellent client interaction, presentation, negotiation, and influence skills.
- Strong product and sales knowledge to mentor new team members.
- Deep knowledge of treasury management products, payment processes, and strategy solutions.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and technical treasury management tools.
- Ability to evaluate client needs, build relationships, and provide strategic advisory services.
- Basic understanding of financial statement analysis and investment management techniques.
Base salary reflects the pay grade range across the U.S. and may vary by role, skillset, experience, education, and location.
