Private Wealth Management (PWM) Analyst Advisor
Private Wealth Management (PWM) Analyst Advisors have shared responsibility for soliciting, developing, managing, and retaining client relationships for PWM. The position focuses on honing the technical aspects of a specialty area and developing superior client-facing skills needed to become a next-level Advisor. On-the-job training will teach the Analyst the technical aspects of that specialty area.
They will be responsible for retention, development, and growth of high net‑worth relationships by creating prospecting strategies and research, managing pipelines, and identifying new business opportunities that may be acted on with general oversight of an Advisor.
Provides Advisors with in-depth analysis of client financial statements using appropriate financial planning analyses, tools, and materials to recommend strategies to prospects and clients to promote growth.
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. It includes a criminal background and credit check.
Responsibilities- Soliciting, developing, managing, and retaining client relationships for PWM.
- Providing technical expertise in a specialty area, including on‑the‑job training on financial planning analyses, tools, and materials.
- Retaining, developing, and growing high-net-worth relationships through prospecting strategies, research, pipeline management, and identifying new business opportunities under general oversight of an Advisor.
- Providing Advisors with in‑depth analysis of client financial statements to recommend growth strategies.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Up to three years of related experience.
- NMLS registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z; includes criminal background and credit check.
- Good knowledge of departmental operations, policies, and U.S. Bank products and services.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong client-facing skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions, interpret data, and solve complex problems with minimal guidance.
- Proficient computer navigation skills with Microsoft Office and other software packages.
- Well-developed analytical skills.
- Pursuit of professional credentials (CFP, CFA, etc.) is a plus.
Hybrid/flexible schedule with an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week.
