General Function
This role will cover a broad area of responsibilities within Securities Services, including settlements, mutual fund settlements, outside trade support, or corporate actions. Expected duties include trade support, clearance/settlement/investigations, and confirmations with direct supervision. The representative is responsible for risk management, adhering to policies and procedures, and ensuring a positive customer experience while operating within the Bank’s risk appetite.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Handles securities processing tasks, including independently processing transactions of extremely high dollar amounts.
- Verifies trade settlement information at the depository and in the proprietary system.
- May be required to execute new trades or instructions in various markets.
- Processes cash movement accurately and timely in accordance with prescribed deadlines and department procedures.
- Demonstrates accuracy and timeliness in work, as evidenced through audits by senior securities analysts or department managers.
- Researches and resolves questions and inquiries from internal and external parties and communicates resolutions in a timely manner.
- Often serves as the first line contact for issues received from administrators, custody representatives, and investment staff.
- Contacts counter parties, both internal and external, to follow up on outstanding settlement issues, report and research fail activity, and communicate settlement issues with administration, vendors, depositories, and other interested parties in accordance with established customer‑service guidelines.
- Promotes teamwork and participates in the cross‑training of team members.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 1 year of operations experience in the securities clearance industry preferred.
- Basic understanding of investments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to represent the Bank to internal and external clients.
- Demonstrated professional customer service skills with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service.
- Strong mathematical and organizational skills.
- Excellent intuitive judgment, systematic approach to problem solving, and effective problem‑resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.) and a demonstrated aptitude for learning other business‑specific software programs.
The base salary for this position reflects the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range vary based on factors such as role, skill set, experience, education, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, the role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any payment based upon company, line of business, and/or individual performance.
