Position: Loan Support Analyst Sr - Specialty (Commercial EF Tax)

As a Loan Support Analyst Sr – Specialty in PNCEF’s Tax organization, you will be based in Cincinnati, OH. The position requires knowledge of property and/or sales tax. Core hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm EST.

The Loan Support Analyst Sr provides operational support for equipment finance property tax and lease administration activities, ensuring accurate processing of tax‑related transactions, customer refunds, and mail operations. The role serves as a key liaison between internal business partners, tax authorities, and cash‑management teams while maintaining compliance with property tax regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and ensure timely delivery of Equipment Finance–related correspondence and route mail to appropriate business units.
  • Process property tax information by entering and maintaining records within PTMS (Property Tax Management System) and Lease Wave, including manual data entry when automated interfaces cannot be utilized.
  • Export and import data between PTMS and Lease Wave and perform data validation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Use Microsoft Excel for data reconciliation, VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, and other analytical tools to research discrepancies and support reporting needs.
  • Manage tax refund processes received from taxing jurisdictions: research refund eligibility, create refund transactions within Lease Wave, clear refund‑related general ledger entries, and coordinate with internal cash‑management teams to facilitate customer reimbursements.
  • Maintain accurate records and respond to internal and external inquiries related to compliance, audit requirements, and refund activity.
  • Attend the Cincinnati office at least three days per week to oversee mail‑processing, distribution, and delivery functions for equipment finance.
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple processes in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience with financial systems, transaction processing, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of equipment finance, property tax administration, lease servicing, and/or related financial operations.
  • Preferred skills: analytical thinking, capital management, compliance requirements, documentation, due diligence, loan documentation, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation strategies.
  • Competencies:

    consulting, customer interaction, decision making and critical thinking, effective communications, financial analysis, managing multiple priorities, negotiating, operational functions, products and services, relationship management.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university/college degree with less than 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program. A comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
Education & Credentials
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • No required certifications or licenses.
Compensation

Base Salary: $41,250.00 – $68,750.00. The role is incentive eligible, with payment based on company, business and/or individual performance.
