General FunctionWorks closely with Senior Portfolio Managers to manage the implementation of high‑net‑worth client investment portfolios with a primary focus on trading and rebalancing accounts. Oversees transitioning portfolios, tactical allocation and/or manager changes, tax loss harvesting, cash management activity, etc. for agency, trust, and charitable accounts. Responsible for management of Portfolio Implementation workflows including account groups, dashboards, and documented procedures. This person will have direct impact on system conversions.
Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
- Account configuration activities related to Portfolio Implementation, including setup of UMA sleeves and asset migration, documenting Investment Policy rules, exceptions, etc., and determining and documenting standing instructions from Portfolio Advisors.
- Ongoing account dashboard monitoring and trade order entry activities, including interaction and communication with Senior Portfolio Managers and the Portfolio Administration Team, cash management, strategy change implementation, and transition management.
- Bachelor’s degree required. A major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience involving investment trading applications.
- Proficiency for analyzing and manipulating data in software applications.
- Experience excelling in an environment that stresses both individual accountability and team‑based performance.
- Exhibits a sense of urgency and a continual drive to results coupled with an ability to partner effectively with management at all organizational levels.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated successful independent decision‑making abilities.
- In‑depth knowledge of the firm’s strategies.
- Solid understanding of the financial markets.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. The role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
