** Job Description
** This position is a service and support representative for Wealth Banking Services (WBS) customers and U.S. Bank. Working within delegated authority and/or standard department guidelines, handles day-to-day client transactions and problem resolution, escalating items beyond specified authority to the assigned Banker. Works proactively to identify potential problems, compliance issues, or fraud to maximize client satisfaction and encourage expansion of the relationship.
Develops working knowledge of assigned area, accounts, and execution of standard departmental procedures.
** About the Role
** We are seeking a detail-oriented
** Operations Specialist
** to join our
** Wealth Banking Services
** team. This role plays a critical part in supporting loan operations by reviewing documentation, accurately setting up loans in bank systems, and processing money movement activities. While the position partners closely with internal stakeholders, it is primarily an operational role rather than a day-to-day client-facing position.
** What You'll Do**- Review and interpret loan documentation to ensure accurate setup and boarding of loans into banking systems.
- Translate complex loan documents into system actions and account configurations.
- Process and review incoming wire transfers and loan payments.
- Perform general ledger (GL) reconciliations related to money movement activities.
- Maintain accuracy and quality while meeting established service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with teammates, client servicing teams, private bankers, and relationship managers to support loan activities and resolve issues.
** Basic Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Five or more years of administrative support experience
** Preferred Skills/Experience** - Expert knowledge of departmental operations/policies and bank products/services
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data
- Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance
- Excellent computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
