Finance Operations Lead - Sap S​/4hana

Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturer, is looking for a Finance Operations Process Lead to act as business process owner for transactional finance in its SAP S/4

HANA environment.

You own the finance change pipeline on the business side: shaping change requests, running UAT, and training finance users. The role is deliberately broad across the transactional cycle; depth in a specific sub-process can shape the final scope.

• Own transactional finance processes end to end: month-end close, account reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and intercompany flows.
• Shape and prioritize finance change requests with clear problem statements, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Run UAT for finance changes: write test cases, validate fixes against real close scenarios, and sign off before deployment.
• Train and coach finance users on S/4
  
  HANA transactional processes, building documentation that outlasts individual team members.
• Drive close-cycle discipline and process standardization across entities, reducing manual journal work and reconciliation exceptions.
• Partner with controllership, shared services, and the IT delivery organization to keep the finance template clean.

• 10-15 years in finance operations or accounting operations, ideally in shared services or controllership.
• SAP S/4
  
  HANA FI/CO fluency as a business user — you run the close in the system, not just review its outputs.
• Proven UAT and business-validation discipline: writing test cases, validating fixes, formal sign-off.
• Process-ownership track record across the transactional cycle (close, reconciliation, AP/AR, intercompany).

• Experience through an S/4
  
  HANA implementation or migration on the business side.
• Exposure to FMCG/CPG or other high-volume transactional environments.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA or equivalent).
