This position assists the physician in examination and treatment of patients, performing delegated duties under the direction of a physician. The role includes interviewing patients, measuring vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), recording information on patient charts, and preparing examination rooms. The position will be cross‑trained to enhance efficiency and continuity of patient care.

• Assists with medical procedures on adults and children.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness of the treatment area.
• Demonstrates knowledge of principles of clean and sterile procedures in the use of medical equipment.

• Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program.
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through AMT, NCCT, or NHA, or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by AAMA.
• Current CPR.
• RN or LPN licensure acceptable.
• Experience performing common lab tests according to CLIA guidelines and Tri Health policy.
• Up to 1 year experience in a medical/physician office setting.
