Position Summary
:
The EHR Support Analyst serves as a training and support resource for the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR). This role develops and delivers end-user training, maintains educational materials, and provides day-to-day user support to promote consistent, efficient, and standardized system use across the organization.
- Develop and maintain role-based Epic training curriculum and materials for clinical and front-office staff.
- Create and update tip sheets, quick-reference guides, job aids, and workflow documentation.
- Deliver onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing staff.
- Provide refresher and optimization training to improve user efficiency and adoption.
- Provide in-person, real-time support during go-lives, upgrades, and workflow changes.
- Respond to user questions and troubleshoot basic system and workflow issues; escalate complex issues as appropriate.
- Translate Epic functionality and workflows into clear, practical guidance for end users.
- Promote standardized workflows and best practices through training and documentation.
- Assist with maintenance of approved Smart-Tools and training-related system content in accordance with organizational governance.
- Assist with routine user access and maintenance tasks for assigned systems.
- Additional duties as assigned
Required:
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years’ experience supporting an electronic health record or health information system in a clinical or ambulatory setting, Epic preferred.
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree
- OCHIN ESA Training certificate or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire
