Overview: As a Pharmacist, Operations Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations in Cincinnati, ensuring efficient workflows, managing staff, maintaining compliance, and optimizing inventory and financial performance to deliver high-quality patient care. This leadership role is vital to maintaining an exceptional standard of service and operational excellence within the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient workflows, timely prescription processing, and high-quality patient care.
  • Regularly evaluate pharmacy operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment to encourage teamwork and maintain morale.
Skills and

Qualifications:
  • Education:

    Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

    D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
  • Licensure: OH State licensure as a pharmacist.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 3-5 years of experience in compounding pharmacy leadership (supervisor/manager role).
  • Core Competencies:
    • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacotherapy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and patient counseling.
    • Commitment to ethical standards and patient safety.
    • Ability to read and interpret handwritten and faxed materials.
Compounding

Experience:
  • Non-sterile medications compounded: capsules, creams, gels, ointments, lotions, and pellets.
  • Sterile medications compounded: eye medications and injections (IVs).

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have prior leadership experience in compounding pharmacies and possess the necessary expertise in compounding both non-sterile and sterile medications. A passion for providing exceptional patient care, along with strong management and operational skills, will make you successful in this role.
