Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur is a long-term care residence for Sisters who have dedicated their lives to serving God. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our Sisters in a faith-based environment. Our mission is to extend God’s goodness through service.
We are seeking a Contract Massage Therapist to provide therapeutic massage services to Sisters in a long-term care setting. This role supports comfort, relaxation, pain relief, and overall quality of life through individualized, compassionate care. The Massage Therapist works collaboratively with the care team and provides services on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with hours occasionally extending to 4:00 p.m. based on Sister needs.

Requirements- Provide therapeutic massage for geriatric and medically complex Sisters.
- Work with Sisters who may have limited mobility, chronic discomfort, or advanced care needs.
- Promote relaxation, circulation, stress reduction, and comfort.
- Maintain accurate documentation and invoicing per policy.
- Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA standards.
- Respect dignity, privacy, and personal preferences at all times.
- Current State of Ohio licensure as a Massage Therapist (required)
- Strong knowledge of geriatric massage techniques
- Experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or nursing homes preferred
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor with respect for privacy, dignity, and faith-based values of the Sisters

- This position is classified as an independent contractor (1099) role. The contractor is responsible for all applicable taxes, insurance, and benefits.
