Certifications/Licences:

Required

Education:

Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound training program.

Maintain continuing education requirements as set forth by ARDMS, CCI, ICAVL and ICAE.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or CCI Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS).

BLS (American Heart Assoc.)

Mandatory

Experience:

ECHO/CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER

Required:

minimum of 2 + years ECHO experience;
Registered in modality by CCI or ARDMS.

Advanced transthoracic echocardiography skills

Required Certifications & Licensure: ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), BLS (American Heart Assoc.)

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: M-F 5x8s 7:30AM-4PM Days

Perform non-invasive ultrasound in the modality of echocardiography.

Develop client relationships through excellent patient care.

Act as an educational resource to clients, providing quality and value to all aspects of services.

Able to participate in research and in procedures and will work in a supportive environment and be extensively trained on our protocols and standards while working on the latest equipment and technology.

Skills & Experience:

Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written / verbal).

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with hospital management, physicians and technologists.

Current knowledge of technology and clinical advances related to cardia and/or vascular sonography.

Working knowledge of accreditation, credentialing, and quality assurance procedures.

Basic understanding of imager configuration, DICOM standards, networking and medical records.
