Job Overview
Prepare and compound sterile medications in accordance with established safety guidelines and regulatory standards, maintain proficiency in aseptic technique, support inventory management, resolve equipment issues, complete cleaning, environmental monitoring, collaborate with the team on requests, and stay up to date on training and best practices.
Responsibilities- Prepare and compound sterile medications following safety guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Maintain proficiency in aseptic technique; ensure compliance with sterile compounding practices.
- Support inventory management: ordering, receiving, and maintaining medications and supplies.
- Identify and resolve issues related to compounding equipment, systems, or processes.
- Complete routine cleaning, environmental monitoring, and documentation to maintain a compliant sterile environment.
- Collaborate with the team to prioritize and respond to compounding requests in a timely manner.
- Stay up to date on training and best practices related to sterile compounding through ongoing education and hands‑on practice.
Monday through Friday, 8:30 am–5:30 pm.
Required Qualifications- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Ohio.
- 1+ years of sterile compounding experience.
- Ability to work independently to solve high‑stakes problems.
- Certified Compounded Sterile Preparations Technician (CSPT) certification.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification.
Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00–$32.00 per hour.
