Clinical Research Professional I Or II

The Department of Radiology is a top-tier department with world-renowned faculty and staff. One full-time Clinical Research Professional position is available in the Department of Radiology. Final job title (CRP I or CRP II) is dependent on experience, education and skills of the final candidate. Our imaging services are growing rapidly, and these positions will provide technical support and assistance.

Duties can span a broad range of activities but will primarily focus on imaging related clinical research functions associated with the Radiology Imaging Services Core Lab at the University of Cincinnati.

Essential Functions:

  • Plan and coordinate clinical research projects.
  • Assist in protocol development and provide input into descriptions of routine research processes.
  • Assist with Radiology Imaging Services Core Lab with development related to administrative duties including billing and scheduling.
  • Serves as a primary contact for clinical centers in multi-center research studies.
  • Develop study materials – serving to train imaging sites.
  • Assist in the development and testing of trial/study imaging infrastructure.
  • Assure study protocol compliance.
  • Screen, recruit, and obtain informed consents for clinical trials/studies.
  • Perform QA/QC of imaging data.
  • Assist study/trial team with various research related tasks.
  • Collect and enter clinical research data required by the sponsors in a timely manner.
  • Utilizes proprietary software for image analysis and segmentation.
  • Help the study/trial team in preparation of the data for DSMB, manuscripts for publication and/or presentation at national meetings.
  • Collect and maintain regulatory documents from subjects and assist in preparation of required regulatory forms and documentation according to protocol.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Clinical Research Professional - I: B.S. Degree in healthcare, biology, engineering or other relevant fields. Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or specialized training can fulfill minimum education requirements.
  • Clinical Research Professional - II: B.S. Degree in healthcare, biology, engineering or other relevant fields. Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or specialized training can fulfill minimum education requirements.

  • Clinical Research Professional - II:
    Three (3) years of related experience

Additional Qualifications Considered:

  • One year of related experience in a medical, academic or radiology or neurology environment.
  • Master's degree or higher training
  • Working experience in a medical, academic or radiology or neurology environment.
  • Experience with using Red Cap
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
