A full-time Coordinator, Special Projects & Programs staff position is available in the Department of Radiology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. The Department of Radiology is seeking a highly motivated, versatile Coordinator, Special Projects & Programs to work closely with the Chair in advancing a broad and evolving portfolio of strategic initiatives.
This role is ideal for a dynamic, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and can seamlessly manage multiple priorities. The Coordinator will play a key role in driving projects forward, enhancing communication, and ensuring alignment across a varied set of programs spanning operations, innovation, and engagement.
Essential Functions
- Drive the planning, execution, and ongoing management of projects and programs, translating high-level priorities into actionable plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure initiatives are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Track progress, analyze outcomes, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement or course correction.
- Support Research, Development & Innovation (RDI) programs and help advance new and emerging initiatives.
- Serve as a central point of coordination and communication among internal teams and external partners.
- Contribute to project development discussions, bringing organization, insight, and follow-through to complex initiatives.
- Develop, edit, and refine reports, presentations, and key communications.
- Create and manage technical content, promotional materials, and program-related communications.
- Assist in developing and monitoring budgets associated with assigned projects and programs.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support departmental priorities. This role is expected to evolve as needs change.
Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
- At least one (1) year of experience coordinating projects and/or programs, preferably in a complex or fast-paced environment.
Additional Qualifications Considered
- Experience with Qualtrics or similar survey and data collection tools.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
