Medical Assistant – Montgomery Rheumatology – Up to $500 Sign On Bonus
LocationGood Samaritan Rheumatology – Thomas Center, 10506A Montgomery Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45242
Work Schedule- Full-Time (80 hours bi-weekly)
- Monday – Friday
- No weekends and holidays

Job Requirements- Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through AMT, NCCT, or NHA
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by AAMA and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Current, active RN or LPN licensure, or Respiratory Therapists or Technician credential also acceptable
- Experience with EKG
- Injections
- Venipuncture Performance of common lab tests according to CLIA guidelines and Tri Health policy
- 1–2 years experience in a physician office or related setting
This position assists the physician in examination and treatment of patients, performing delegated duties under the physician's direction. It includes interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, recording information on charts, preparing treatment rooms, cross-training to enhance efficiency, and maintaining medical records and safety duties.
Job Responsibilities- Provides support to physicians/clinical staff.
- Skillfully performs and obtains test specimens, following proper departmental procedures.
- Performs technical skills according to hospital and department policies and accepted standards of practice.
- Maintains high efficiency, organization, and time management to promote efficiency.
- Demonstrates strong written, verbal, and phone skills with courtesy and respect.
- Notifies team members of abnormal test results or emergent situations.
- Accurately documents patient care and maintains confidentiality of records.
- Maintains general appearance and cleanliness of exam rooms, supply areas, and nurse station; disposes of contaminated equipment per infection control guidelines.
