Minimum

Job Requirements
  • High School Degree
  • Graduate of accredited school of Surgical Technology. Will accept a non‑accredited school of Surgical Technology if hired prior to 2019.
  • BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
  • Surgical Technologist Certification required
Job Overview

Performs technical skills and provides assistance to surgeons, anesthesia personnel, registered nurses, and other professionals in the operating room. Performs similar duties in other areas of the hospital as assigned.

  • Communicates professionally and effectively with team members and customers regarding patient care situations.

  • Participates in unit‑based quality improvement initiatives.
  • Works collaboratively with team members to ensure the needs of the unit, patients, and customers are met.
