The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience, in collaboration with University Health Services, is recruiting a full-time Clinical Counselor or Social Worker to join the department that will provide comprehensive clinical, consultative, emergency and psycho-educational services to the student body of the University of Cincinnati.

• Provide direct patient care through individual psychotherapy.
• Conduct psychological assessment, diagnosis, consultation, treatment, and related psychological services to students.
• Apply and supervise psychological procedures and techniques in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating psychological disorders.
• Provide crisis management and case coordination with interdisciplinary clinic team members.
• Function as a member of interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Provide education and support regarding psychosocial and behavioral issues to medical school faculty, attending physicians, nursing staff, residents, interns, medical students, and other trainees as requested or needed.
• Participate in regular staff meetings, case conference meetings, and other clinic meetings.
• Fulfill medical records, billing, HIPAA, and other administrative requirements associated with patient care.
• Perform related duties based on department needs.

• Required
  
  Education:
  
  Master’s Degree in Counseling.
• Required Trainings/
  
  Certifications:
  
  State of Ohio Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or LPCC-S.
• Additional Qualifications Considered:
  Good interpersonal skills, team oriented, and desire to collaborate in a multidisciplinary setting.

  State of Ohio Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or LISW-S.
• Required Experience:
  
  Two (2) years of supervised social work experience.
