Overview

The Practice Coordinator is responsible for managing front office daily activities at 2135 Dana Ave Ste 220, Cincinnati, OH 45207. This role ensures high‑quality customer service to in‑person and remote patients and clinicians and supports the overall operational excellence of the practice.

Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Create a positive work environment by supporting in‑office clinician and staff engagement activities, conducting schedule preparation for all patients, maintaining office cleanliness and appeal, and managing office mail, scanning, e‑faxes, shared email, and general office upkeep.
  • Patient Support: Provide exceptional customer service, greet and check patients in/out, respond to phone, email, and portal inquiries, manage payment and billing issues, handle insurance eligibility verification, collect co‑payments, and triage urgent patient requests through the crisis and de‑escalation processes.
  • Clinician Support: Assist clinicians with administrative tasks such as sending letters and faxes, coordinate patient questions, audit clinician schedules for appointment accuracy, and maintain a secure and motivating practice environment.
Qualifications & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in healthcare operations, customer service, or a similar role.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize duties, and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information under HIPAA guidelines.
Compensation & Benefits

Compensation starts at $21.00 per hour, with potential quarterly bonus or incentive pay.

Physical Requirements

The job requires sitting, standing, bending, talking, hearing, walking, and moving objects up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
