Physical Therapist (PT)
UC Health is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) for the Outpatient Therapy department for the first shift at our Tricounty location. UC Health outpatient therapy department is seeking a physical therapist to support the needs of a growing orthopedic and spine patient population. The major focus will be on evaluating, planning, and implementing Physical Therapy treatment programs for referred patients in order to restore function, prevent disability, reduce pain, and return to his/her maximum function.
Follow hospital department approved policies related to documentation, attendance, education, etc. Show respect and courtesy to all staff, patients, and visitors.
- Complete functional and comprehensive physical therapy assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment programs consistent with patient's diagnosis, status, and goals.
- Implement treatment plans in collaboration with the therapy team.
- Engage in professional and population-appropriate communication.
- Adhere to hospital and department policies.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum
Required:
Degree in Physical Therapy from approved APTA School. - License to practice Physical Therapy or licensure eligible in the applicable state.
- Minimum
Required:
Recently certified, licensed or graduates within past 12 months. - Preferred: 1 - 2 Years equivalent experience.
- CPR Certification.
- ADULT:
One year of experience preferred. Will consider a new graduate. - Customer service and interpersonal skills.
