Transportation Driver

Care Core at Meadows is looking for a dependable, organized, and friendly Transportation Driver / Scheduler to join our team! This position plays an important role in helping residents safely get to appointments while ensuring transportation schedules run smoothly and efficiently.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with seniors, communicates well with staff and families, and can stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Must be flexible with scheduling based on transportation and facility needs

Responsibilities include:

• Transport residents safely to and from appointments and outings

• Schedule and coordinate transportation appointments

• Communicate with nursing staff, families, and medical offices

• Maintain transportation logs and documentation

• Assist with wheelchair transport and resident safety during transport

• Help maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of transportation vehicles

• Support residents with professionalism, patience, and compassion

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required

• Experience driving a passenger bus required

• STNA license preferred but not required

• Previous transportation, scheduling, or healthcare experience preferred

• Experience working in long term care or healthcare settings is a plus

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to assist residents safely in and out of vehicles

• Dependable and team-oriented attitude required
