Company Description Honey's Support Home Health Agency LLC provides compassionate, personalized non-medical home care for seniors and individuals of all ages with physical or developmental disabilities. Role Description This is an on-site Caregiver role based in Cincinnati, OH. The Caregiver will provide direct support to clients in their homes or community, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Day-to-day responsibilities may include light housekeeping, meal preparation, companion care, medication reminders, and accompanying clients to appointments or community activities. The role involves following individualized care plans, documenting services provided, observing and reporting changes in client condition, and collaborating with supervisors and team members to ensure quality care.
Caregivers are expected to promote client dignity, independence, and safety while building respectful, trusting relationships with clients and their families.
Qualifications
- Ability to provide personal care and support with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
- Skills in homemaking tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, meal planning, and meal preparation.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and companion care skills, with a compassionate and patient approach.
- Reliability in providing medication reminders, following care plans, and accurately documenting services.
- Capability to assist with transportation to appointments and community activities, where applicable.
- Experience or comfort working with seniors and individuals with physical or developmental disabilities; experience with Alzheimer’s and dementia care is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior caregiving, home health, or related experience beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks required for client support, with adherence to safety practices.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, if transportation support is part of the role.
- Ability to pass required background checks and comply with agency policies and training requirements.
