Your Role as a Dietary aide:
  • Support meal preparation, setup, service, and cleanup to ensure residents receive timely, appetizing meals in appropriate portions.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary dining environment by following all infection control, safety, sanitation, and HIPAA standards.
  • Assist residents with menu selections and contribute to a calm, supportive, and compassionate dining experience.
  • Communicate positively with residents, families, and team members, participate in required training, and support team needs as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum of a 10thgrade education with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work independently, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods; lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs; and perform routine movements throughout the shift.
  • Emotional resilience and compassion to remain calm and supportive while working with elderly residents in a healthcare environment
