Whatyou’ll do at DBH
Treatment Planning and Clinical Services
- Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans with the patients and interdisciplinary team
- Monitor patient progress and modify interventions based on clinical needs and treatment response
- Document clinical services assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and timely
- Identify patient strengths, treatment needs, risk factors, barriers to discharge and available support
Forensic and Legal Responsibility
- Collaborate with legal representatives, courts, attorneys, probation/parole personnel and other authorized agencies as appropriate
- Assist with evaluations and treatment activities related to competency restoration, criminal responsibility, or other forensic treatment requirements
- Maintain awareness of court orders, legal requirements and patient rights affecting treatment and discharge planning
Discharge Planning
- Develop and sustain collaborative relationships with external facilities, agencies, and support services to facilitate referrals and ensure effective follow up.
- Assess housing, transportation, financial, employment, healthcare and community support needs
- Coordinate referrals to outpatient mental health services, residential programs, community providers and other resources
This is an hourly position covered by the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of 11 on the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199
Pay Range Schedule . Normal working hours are 8am-4:30pm (Full Time - 40 hours/week. Must be able to work weekend and holiday rotation). This position is located within our Summit Behavioral Healthcare Campus

Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
