North Star Behavioral Health is seeking an organized and professional Lead Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. The Lead Behavioral Health Technician plays a key role in supporting clients in their daily living activities while also welcoming and orienting new residents, accompanying them to appointments, and ensuring proper documentation of important information. Responsibilities also include managing resources, training staff, addressing issues, and collaborating with the client and treatment team.

What We Require for the Lead Behavioral Health Technician Role:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 Year of leadership experience
Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers; handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; and hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to walk, balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch. (The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds).
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Keyboard data entry required.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen.
  • Current vaccination for tuberculosis (TB) or willingness to be vaccinated upon hire.

  • Demonstrate reliable attendance.
