North Star Behavioral Health is seeking a collaborative and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (Night Shift) to join our dynamic residential team, ensuring high-quality patient care for clients in our residential units. We rely on our Behavioral Health Technicians to provide direct care, supervision, and support to our clients during a critical time in their lives.

- Competitive Pay – This role pays $19.57 per hour to start, plus a $0.50 shift differential for hours worked between the hours of 11:30 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.

- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Medical Assistant (MA) certification and/or an Associate’s Degree is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Tuberculosis Skin Test and Influenza (Flu) vaccination within the past year;
- Ability to work a 12‑hour shift.
- Ability to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 15 lbs.
- Assists clients with daily living activities and personal hygiene.
- Plans and leads individual and group therapeutic recreation activities.
- Obtains and documents vital signs and patient information.
- Monitors patient activities and behaviors, promptly reporting any changes to the assigned medical staff.
- Provides crisis intervention and employs supportive communication techniques.
