Radiology Technologist – Tri Health Anderson Priority Care – Full Time. Up to $9,000 Sign On Bonus.

Work Schedule
  • Three 12‑hour shifts
  • Every 3rd weekend
  • Rotating holidays

Job Requirements
  • Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Allied Health
  • Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program
  • Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS), Radiologic Technologist, GXMO or ARRT and State License, or Doctor of Chiropractic license
  • Knowledge of radiography equipment, radiation safety practices, minor industrial injury care, light duty, and BWC processes
  • Up to 1 year experience in Clinical Allied Health medical/physician office setting
Job Overview

Under the direction of the Physician/Radiologist and the supervision of the manager or supervisor, a radiologic technologist performs radiographic procedures to assist in diagnosis of disease and injuries. Responsibilities include performing quality radiographic procedures, maintaining accurate records, ensuring radiation safety, educating students, orienting new employees, participating in quality assurance, caring for equipment, and other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comfort and care to patients, families, and staff before, during, and after procedures
  • Respond appropriately to emergent situations
  • Maintain accurate records and complete paperwork timely
  • Produce and evaluate diagnostic radiographs for interpretation
  • Demonstrate organizational and communication skills to promote departmental well‑being
  • Maintain cooperative relationships with interdepartmental team members
  • Participate in continuing education and demonstrate knowledge of equipment and operating procedures
  • Select proper imaging protocols and follow departmental procedures
