Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processing Team Lead to join our team in 2123 Auburn Ave Cincinnati Ohio 45219.
Work Schedule:Split shifts ranging from Monday – Friday 8:00pm – 11:00pm; ability to cover 1st and 3rd shift and weekends as needed
Job Responsibilities- Assist in the supervision of the day to day operations of the Department Name department
- Help lead the team in their daily processes and procedures
- Assist with preparation of laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
- Oversee routing of specimens to their respective prep areas
- Encourage process improvements and best practices
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy
- Resolve any production errors as requested by management
- Research and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessary
- Engage in continuous process and service level improvements
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy
- Responsible for enforcing and managing policies and procedures
- Perform administrative duties as needed
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 3 years or more experience in lab, accessioning, data entry or production.
- Associates degree
- 1 year or more experience working in a clinical laboratory
- 1 year or more experience as a people leader
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- High level of attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment
- Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
- Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Pay Range: $19.00- $29.93per hour
Eligible for a 2nd shift differential
