Autism Program TherapistBest Point Education & Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Therapist to join our Heidt Program, supporting children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
In this campus-based role, you will provide individual, family, and group therapy, conduct diagnostic assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver behavioral health support tailored to the unique needs of students and their families.
The Autism Program Therapist works closely with educators, caregivers, healthcare professionals, community providers, and other members of a multidisciplinary team to promote positive social, emotional, behavioral, and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to students and families.
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions that support students' social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches based on clinical needs and outcomes.
- Provide crisis intervention, stabilization, and ongoing clinical support as needed.
- Advocate for students and families and help ensure their unique needs are addressed.
- Collaborate with school personnel, caregivers, community providers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, staff meetings, clinical supervision, and case consultations.
- Coordinate services and communication among members of each student's support team.
- Build strong, professional relationships with families and community partners.
- Support continuity of care across educational, behavioral health, and community settings.
- Maintain timely, accurate, thorough, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Complete diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation within established timelines.
- Maintain client records in accordance with agency, regulatory, ethical, and HIPAA requirements.
- Participate in required trainings and maintain all applicable professional certifications and credentials.
- Utilize clinical data and client outcomes to inform treatment planning and clinical decision-making.

-based, and client-centered approaches . - Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapeutic approaches.
- Receive and apply feedback through supervision and professional development.
- Master's degree in Social Work , Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families .
- Active Ohio licensure as one of the following: LPC, LSW, MFT, LPCC, LISW, or LMFT
- Strong clinical assessment, organization, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment totrauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client-centered care.
- Experience working with individuals with ASD and/or developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
