Activity Aide-; PRN

Meadowbrook Care Center is seeking an experienced full-time Activity Aide
for our facility to perform activity functions as assigned; must be able to work a flexible schedule; position requires some weekends and evenings.
Activity Aide will be responsible for running activities, creating flyers and other materials, shopping for supplies, assisting with calendar preparation, and many other duties.

• Lead scheduled activities programs that inspire spiritual, cognitive, social, physical and creative expressions
• Assist with the organizing, planning and implementation of programs and opportunities that promote resident well-being
• Enthusiastically promote and communicate programs and events to residents and
• Passionately motivate and serve residents of varying cognitive and physical abilities
• Interact with families and visitors of our residents

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Prior experience as activity assistant
• Prior experience in Long-Term Care/Healthcare is preferred

• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to respect all members of the healthcare team
• Solid work history with excellent attendance and punctuality and
• Patience, understanding and compassion for those requiring our care.
