The Pharmacist Supervisor at Fuze Health plays a key role in supporting safe, efficient, and compliant pharmacy operations during assigned shifts. This role will specifically oversee operations for this location's evening shift (2nd shift). Reporting to the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), this role provides oversight to a wide range of pharmacy staff, ensures accurate prescription processing, and upholds the highest standards of patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence within the respective Fuze Rx location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Oversight & Shift Leadership:
    Supervise pharmacy team members during assigned shifts to ensure operational efficiency, effective workflow management, and a positive working environment.
  • Prescription Processing & Clinical Support:
    Provide clinical judgment and verification support while monitoring prescription workflow to meet accuracy, turnaround time, and patient safety standards.
  • Regulatory & Policy Compliance:
    Ensure full compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies, escalating operational or clinical issues to the PIC or APIC when appropriate.
  • Operational & Service Coordination:
    Assist in coordinating daily pharmacy operations—including shift transitions and order fulfillment—to ensure continuity and timely processing.
  • Medication & Inventory Management:
    Support inventory control efforts and assist in resolving medication-related issues on the floor to maintain proper stock levels and minimize workflow disruptions.
  • Patient Safety & Confidentiality:
    Uphold strict confidentiality of patient information and reinforce practices that ensure safe, accurate, and compliant prescription processing.
  • Quality & Performance Improvement:
    Participate in identifying workflow improvements and contribute to initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and overall pharmacy performance.
  • Collaboration & Leadership Presence:
    Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support operational goals while fostering a collaborative, high-performing work environment.

Required Experience &

Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license (RPh or PharmD) in your state of residence.
  • License in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of pharmacist experience, preferably in a high-volume or operations-driven environment.
  • Prior experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.
  • Strong communication, team leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Highly organized, dependable, and able to perform under pressure.
  • Tech-savvy and open to innovation, workflow enhancements, and process improvements.

Additional Physical Job Requirements

Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods, move frequently around the pharmacy, stoop, bend, reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions to operate a computer and other pharmacy equipment, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move objects up to 50 pounds.
