Responsibilities
- Scientific knowledge:
Maintain highest technical expertise through continuous learning; provide unbiased, accurate, up-to-date medical/scientific information. - Customer engagement:
Spend majority of time on customer-facing activities; serve as primary interface between Lilly medical and Scientific/Clinical Experts (SEs/CEs); connect SEs/CEs with internal resources; facilitate collaborative research and external opportunities. - Territory ownership:
Analyze, plan, and prioritize to maximize efficiency; implement/evaluate a strategic territory plan; take accountability for results; use territory analytics for customer identification and routing. - Strategic vision and leadership:
Synthesize and communicate actionable customer/clinical insights to internal medical and cross-functional teams; use good judgment and elevate issues as appropriate; collaborate across functions; exercise strategic agility.
- Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD/MD/PhD medically related) required; 2–3 years relevant clinical or therapeutic area experience desired.
- OR BS/MS in health sciences (e.g., BSN/RPh/PA/NP) considered with 5+ years clinical/research/industry experience in relevant therapeutic area.
- Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Authorization to work in the US full-time;

- Neuroscience therapeutic area experience (strongly preferred).
- Travel up to 80%; work 4–6 weekends/year.
- Live near transport hub (airport/train).
- Intellectual curiosity; learning agility; self-directed field work; advanced presentation/computer skills; strong communication; field-based electronic tools; resiliency; teamwork with high emotional intelligence; experience servicing complex customer needs; professional networking; familiarity with health systems/academia/medical research/education.
- Anticipated wage: $156,000–$250,800; eligible for company bonus.
