Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist collaborates with patients to develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans aimed at enhancing their functional independence and quality of life. This role involves assessing patient needs, establishing goals, and providing tailored therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to determine appropriate treatment strategies.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in consultation with healthcare teams.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions designed to improve patients' daily living skills and functional abilities.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic activities and strategies for ongoing support.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Occupational Therapist license and certification.
- Demonstrate clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility setting.
- Possess strong assessment and therapeutic planning skills.
- Exhibit excellent communication and patient engagement abilities.
- Be proficient in documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations.
