Role
Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in neuroscience (CAPLYTA) within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicines division, supporting brain health disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and schizophrenia. Objectives include developing scientific engagement plans, building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), facilitating scientific exchange, and providing clinical and research support.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities encompass territory strategy implementation, scientific data dissemination, competitor landscape awareness, investigator support for studies, and internal collaboration across R&D, Medical Affairs, and Clinical Operations.
RequirementsDoctorate-level degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent), post-graduate experience, minimal 70% travel capacity within Ohio, and strong scientific/therapeutic expertise in neuroscience.
Preferred2+ years in MSL or relevant clinical roles, residency/fellowship, board certification, and familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI.
High-value specificsneuroscience therapeutic area, clinical research support, investigator engagement, adherence to compliance and regulatory standards, and engagement with internal and external stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
Work setupWork setup involves field-based activities across Ohio with regular travel, supporting both company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.
