What You’ll DoAs a Direct Support Specialist, you will:
- Provide personal care and companionship
- Assist with daily living tasks, mobility, and hygiene
- Participate in fun, engaging recreational activities
- Build strong, respectful relationships with residents and families
- Support each individual’s physical and emotional well-being
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license (fewer than 6 points)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professionalism and calmness in high-stress situations
