School-Based Therapist; Spanish Speaking

School-Based Mental & Behavioral Health Therapist (Spanish Speaking)

Therapist will provide services primarily in a PreK-8th school within CPS. Services will be secondarily provided in the office or other community-based setting (client homes, other healthcare organizations, etc.).

Clients will range from Pre-K through 12th grade with the option of serving additional clients PreK through Older Adulthood.

Therapist must be open to receiving training in Animal-Assisted Intervention and to incorporate into client treatment.

Therapist must be highly collaborative and able to work with an interdisciplinary team of professionals.

Therapist must be proficient in Spanish.

Highly Preferred:
Therapist owns and maintains ownership of an affiliative, well-trained dog that they are willing to incorporate into service delivery.

• Master of Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy
• Ohio licensure as an LSW/LISW or LPC/LPCC
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience

• Provides individual, group and/or family treatment services and maintains all required documentation
• Completes Diagnostic Assessments, Individual Treatment Plans, referrals, risk assessments
• Maintains licensure, ongoing training and professional education
• Engages in regular supervision
