A Server Assistant ' In-Room Dining & Upkeep is responsible for supporting the in-room dining operation and maintaining cleanliness throughout service areas and guest floors. This role ensures timely delivery support, proper tray retrieval, and a clean, organized environment to enhance the overall guest experience.

• Assist with delivering in-room dining orders to guest rooms in a timely and professional manner
• Greet guests politely when entering or exiting guest rooms and hallways
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
• Prepare trays, carts, and tables for service, ensuring all items are properly set and stocked
• Retrieve trays, carts, and service items from guest floors promptly
• Maintain cleanliness of service stations, hallways, and storage areas
• Clean and sanitize trays, carts, hot boxes, and all related equipment after use
• Monitor guest floors to ensure timely tray pick-up and overall presentation standards
• Assist servers with order preparation, delivery setup, and breakdown
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
• Assist with special events, amenities, and VIP room deliveries as needed
• Answer telephone using appropriate etiquette when required
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and other departments
• Assist with dishwashing or kitchen support as needed
• Clean all assigned back-of-house and front-of-house areas including floors, walls, and service equipment
• Restock supplies such as condiments, beverages, linens, and service items
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

• Prior hospitality or food and beverage experience preferred
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a sense of urgency
• Punctuality and reliable attendance are required
• Basic familiarity with hotel or restaurant operations preferred
• Ability to safely perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Ability to push and pull carts and lift items weighing up to 30'40 pounds
