Attendant - Room Housek

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
• Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness
• Keep the work cart orderly and properly stocked
• Properly utilize equipment, supplies, and guest amenities
• Maintain thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas
• Daily change and inspection of linens and towels following the Green Program standards
• Practice safety standards, be aware of hazards (broken glass, electrical cords, leaks, locks, suspicious persons) and report appropriately
• Respect guests’ property and exercise responsible care of equipment
• Report to work on time, maintain accurate time records, and follow proper standards for room issuance
• Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and coworkers always
• Perform other related duties as requested by the Floor Supervisor

• Housekeeping experience desirable
• Neat, pleasant personality
• Good time‑management skills
• Ability to work on feet for an extended period
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
• Ability to move, traverse, and position self to reach corners, high places; observe conditions, detect odors, and navigate carts up to 100 lbs in tight spaces
• Proficiency in operating equipment such as spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters
• Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & deep experience, certifications and specific office location. Compensation may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
