Catering Assistant

Responsibilities

• Customer Service
  - Demonstrate characteristics of excellence in customer service, follow CARES standards, respond to requests quickly and effectively, and understand customer needs and expectations to meet them.
• Communication
  - Effectively convey relevant information, keep key leadership and schedulers informed of new requests and changes, and post required schedules to provide customers with information.
• Problem Solving
  - Assist guests whenever possible, act as the first line of problem resolution, and refer all requests beyond the scope of responsibility to management.
• Room Setup
  - Read and interpret function set‑up sheets, set up rooms accordingly, set up banquet equipment, and ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all banquet equipment.
• Organization
  - Keep the work environment and equipment well organized and in good condition; report broken equipment or lights to management.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• No directly related experience required
