Job Summary
The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst II will maintain the integrity and reliability of the organization’s HRIS platform, ensuring applications meet the needs, requirements, and objectives of the HR department and the business.
Essential Job Functions- Experience in requirements engineering, functional design, and data mapping for the HCM platform
- Collaborate with other analysts and HRIS staff to plan, modify, and customize the HRIS system and to test new applications and features
- Collaborate with HR staff and organizational leadership to determine the short‑ and long‑term departmental requirements and system objectives.
- Participate and potentially lead HRIS projects to include implementation of system upgrades, enhancements, new modules, and integrations; conduct working sessions with the business to gather, understand and analyze business requirements
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, including process workflows, data mappings, and integration rules.
- Prepare and present recommendations to the business and other company leaders to support business objectives.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive functional documentation, including user manuals, configuration guides, training materials, and system demonstrations
- Drive adoption and utilization of the HCM tool and support global best practices and standards
- Provide Tier 2 support for internal users, resolving technical issues promptly and professionally
- Acts as SME for 2 or more modules in the HCM platform

Education & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- 3‑5 years of experience with HR business systems required.
- Experience with the SDLC to include discovery/planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and post implementation support.
- Understanding of HR processes (i.e., payroll, talent management, employee data lifecycle) and experience with Dayforce HCM or similar platforms
- Creation of training materials, user documentation, and process flow documentation.
- Ability to proactively identify issues and propose practical solutions to meet the business needs.
- Use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions to issues that arise.
- Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet established Service Level Agreement deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Understands and uses qualitative/quantitative measurement and data collection design principles.
- Experience with SQL programming language – preferred
- Knowledge of integration design, build, and testing
- Knowledge of API functionality – preferred
