Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking an experienced and people-focused Area Human Resources Business Partner to support our growing operations across multiple locations. This role serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, helping foster a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with company policies, employment laws, and HR best practices.

- Serve as the primary HR partner for employee relations matters across assigned locations.
- Conduct thorough and objective investigations into employee concerns, complaints, and workplace issues.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee performance, corrective action, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution.
- Support employees by answering questions regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace concerns.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and mediate workplace disputes to promote a respectful and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement employee engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations records and documentation.
- Partner with operational leaders to identify workforce challenges and implement proactive solutions.
- Assist with performance management processes, investigations, corrective actions, and terminations.
- Support onboarding, training, and leadership development initiatives.
- Deliver training programs related to employee relations, workplace behavior, compliance, and leadership effectiveness.
- Stay current on federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
- Participate in special projects and strategic HR initiatives as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of Human Resources experience with a strong focus on employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to conduct workplace investigations and manage sensitive employee relations matters.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and HR teams.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel throughout assigned territory as needed.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience supporting operations, hospitality, food service, retail, distribution, or service-based industries.
- Formal training or certification in mediation, conflict resolution, or workplace investigations.
