Riley Decker Companies is seeking a dynamic and engaging Corporate Trainer to lead employee onboarding, training, and professional development initiatives across the organization. This role will be responsible for designing, facilitating, and continuously improving training programs that and company wide consistency.
The Corporate Trainer will play a critical role in helping employees ramp faster, improve performance, and develop the skills necessary to succeed in a fast-paced staffing and workforce solutions environment. This individual will partner closely with leadership to identify training needs, build scalable programs, and foster a culture of continuous learning and accountability.
Key Responsibilities- Training Development & Facilitation
- Lead onboarding for new hires across the Riley Decker platform
- Partner with Learning & Development Specialist to design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs for new hires and existing employees across recruiting, sales, operations, payroll, and leadership functions
- Facilitate onboarding programs to ensure employees are effectively trained on company systems, processes, culture, and expectations
- Develop training materials including presentations, SOPs, manuals, videos, job aids, and learning modules
- Deliver instructor led, virtual, and hands on training sessions for employees at all levels of the organization
- Ensure training content remains relevant, consistent, and aligned with company goals and operational needs
- Train recruiting and staffing teams on sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, interviewing best practices, compliance, onboarding, and client expectations
- Support recruiter development through coaching, role playing, and ongoing skills assessments
- Partner with leadership to reinforce KPI expectations, recruiting processes, and performance improvement initiatives
- Systems & Process Training
- Train employees on core systems and platforms including ATS/CRM systems, payroll platforms, reporting tools, communication platforms, and operational workflows
- Develop process documentation and SOPs to improve consistency and efficiency across teams
- Identify gaps in process adherence and provide retraining or coaching as needed
- Leadership Development & Employee Growth
- Support leadership training initiatives focused on coaching, communication, accountability, performance management, and employee engagement
- Assist in building career pathing and professional development programs for employees
- Create ongoing learning opportunities that support employee retention and internal growth
- Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement
- Measure training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, performance metrics, and operational outcomes
- Analyze training needs and partner with department leaders to identify skill gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Continuously improve training content and delivery methods based on business needs and employee feedback
- Required
- 2-5 years experience in Staffing/Recruiting industry in both Sales and Recruiting
-OR- - 3+ years of training, facilitation, staffing, recruiting, HR, or workforce development experience in the Staffing/Recruiting industry
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Experience creating training materials, SOPs, presentations, and learning content
- Strong understanding of staffing, recruiting, sales, operations, or workforce
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship building skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training priorities
- 2-5 years experience in Staffing/Recruiting industry in both Sales and Recruiting
- Preferred
- Experience with in the staffing, recruiting, or workforce solutions industry
- Experience training on ATS/CRM systems, payroll systems, or operational platforms
- Experience supporting high volume workforce environments
- Salary (Exempt) $65k-$75k
- Paid Time Off (PTO): 15 days per calendar year (January-December)
