Human Resources Director

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and people-focused Human Resources Director to join the leadership team at a respected Long-Term Care facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who is passionate about employee engagement, recruitment, retention, compliance, and building a positive workplace culture within a healthcare setting.

• Oversee all Human Resources operations for the facility

• Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and staffing initiatives

• Handle employee relations and conflict resolution professionally and confidentially

• Support employee engagement and retention efforts

• Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and regulatory requirements

• Oversee benefits administration, leave management, workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims

• Partner with department leaders to support staffing and operational goals

• Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management support to leadership and staff

• Coordinate training, development, and HR initiatives throughout the facility

• Previous Human Resources leadership experience required

• Healthcare or Long-Term Care experience preferred

• Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion

• Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
