The purpose of this position is to provide administrative and clerical support to the human resource department and other related services as assigned.
ResponsibilitiesHR Division Support
- Maintain and scans department files
- Order department supplies and ensures area is stocked appropriately
- Manage loan forgiveness, subpoenas, daily mail, unemployment requests & tracking
- Assist employees in policy and procedure interpretation
- Serve as a positive role model in representing the HR department & UC Health's PRIIDE Core Values, policies, and procedures
- Takes the initiative in identifying & facilitating the resolution of employee requests through research, communication & cooperation w/internal & external personnel.
- Attends weekly department meetings/huddles & periodically committee meetings.
- Process union(s) dues to payroll.
- Review and distribute monthly reports to the Union(s) and Labor Relations.
- AMP Tracer file review.
- Conduct exit interviews.
- Assist applicants with the electronic application.
- Adhere to Joint Commission requirements and assists in survey preparation and activities. Field questions including but not limited to: benefits, employee parking, Staff Development and Education requirements, ePayroll, email access, dress code policy, referral bonus program.
- Work with Parking and Access Control and/or Public Safety to coordinate badges/parking.
- Answer routine benefit questions for employees and managers
- Generally understands UC Health pay practices.
- Participate in the planning and staffing of programs and events; recognition, open enrollment, employee engagement.
- May pull data or run reports to support various HR initiatives
