We’re seeking an HR professional with strong employee relations expertise who can partner with leaders and team members to navigate policies, procedures, and workplace challenges with clarity and sound judgment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring consistent policy interpretation, timely responses to concerns, and balanced, effective resolution of employee relations matters.
In this role, you’ll conduct investigations, coach leaders on performance and conduct issues, identify trends across your assigned regions, and support retention efforts. You’ll also prepare unemployment claim responses and deliver training on harassment prevention, diversity and inclusion, professionalism, and workplace violence.

- Full‑time position: 80 hours bi‑weekly

MinimumJob Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
- Knowledge of employment law
- 5–7 years in a related field
This position is responsible for employee relations for assigned areas. Key duties include day‑to‑day employee relations consulting, routine and complex investigation and resolution of workplace issues, and administration of personnel policies including Employee Relations, Training and Development, Recruitment, Benefits Administration, FMLA and other special projects.
Job Responsibilities- Expert content knowledge of policies and procedures; counsel employees and managers on employee relations issues; interpret and apply policies consistently with appropriate judgment.
- Communicate clearly.
- Deliver service excellence: return voicemails, respond to emails by end of day, and resolve workplace issues in a timely manner (within five days, 95% of the time).
- Stay abreast of employment law and HR policy changes.
- Adopt a problem‑solving approach that incorporates the needs of both employee and management, aiming for win‑win solutions.
- Address and resolve problems using sound judgment.
- Seek direction from HR Leadership or Business Partner when needed.
- Conduct retention visits and develop retention plans when turnover or workplace issues arise.
- Prepare documentation and responses to unemployment compensation claims and attend unemployment hearings.
- Provide education on harassment, diversity, professionalism, and workplace violence to high‑risk areas.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Engage leaders of assigned regions, building a trusting partnership.
- Coach leaders on performance counseling and evaluation.
- Identify regional trends and collaborate with HRBP to bring insights and initiatives to business unit leaders.
- Serve as the point person for investigations, including drug diversion and fitness for duty cases.
