Thompson Hine LLP, an AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a Law School Recruiting Coordinator to join any of the following locations:
Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton or New York offices. As a member of the Firm's Talent Management (TM) team, the Law Student Recruiting Coordinator works closely with the Senior Law School Recruiter to support the Firm's law school recruiting efforts firmwide.
- Lead resume collection and collaborate with Senior Law School Recruiter on candidate review and candidate selection.
- Coordinate high volume of summer associate and entry level interviews, make travel arrangements, circulate interview schedules, including detailed logistics and candidate materials.
- Collect interview evaluations and compile materials for offer decisions.
- Draft and send offer letters for summer and first-year associates.
- Submit summer associate and first-year candidate diligence for review and analysis.
- Maintain all candidates’ electronic recruiting files, and files in vi Recruit, including updating applicant information, uploading candidates' materials, candidate status tracking, generating reports, and candidate maintenance.
- Handle data entry in Red Carpet, including entering and updating candidate information and managing throughout the onboarding process.
- Create Employment Status Publications (ESPs) for incoming summer and entry level hires.
- Collaborate on integration planning for summer and entry level associate orientations.
- Coordinate and plan both Thompson Hine hosted and law school-hosted recruiting activities, such as early recruiting events, meet the employer events and 1L & 2L networking receptions.
- Responsibilities include soliciting availability from outreach teams, sending invites, tracking attendance, coordinating with catering, and shipping Thompson Hine branded materials to various event locations.
- Follow up with office-based summer event planning committees to track progress and develop a firmwide summer event calendar.
- Attend and host events, both in person and virtually, periodically.
- Prepare agendas for and attend Law School Committee meetings, which occur weekly during the summer program from May - July and periodically, as needed, during the remainder of the year.
- Participate in Panel Interviews for Associate candidates.
- Attend Talent Management team meetings.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- One year of law firm or campus recruiting experience and/or two total years of administrative experience in a professional services environment with a focus on campus/student recruiting.

- Possesses interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with a diverse group of employees.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Desire and willingness to be proactive.
- Experience working with vi by Aderant, or a similar applicant tracking system, is strongly preferred. Experience with Flo Recruit is a plus.
- Spreadsheet and database experience required; intermediate functions of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word preferred.
- This position constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery (e.g., copiers, fax machines, etc.).
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette are mandatory.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.

- This position requires the employee to work at a specified location and hours determined by the Manager for the benefit of the department and firm adhering to the firm’s hybrid work policy. Changes to the location and/or scheduled hours must be approved by the Manager.
Pertinent to our Cleveland and New York office, compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors. The estimated salary ranges for these locations are the following:
Cleveland is $57,000 to $68,000 and New York is $68,000 to $80,000.
